ummm im stuck i need help!

im new to the pc and making videos...but ive recently made my first two
i dont know if this has got to do with hardware....
i was wondering, on section 4 on yr website (creating your own video) it says that i need to link my video to your site....umm how do u do that?
do you need your own website?

im stuck!

You can upload your video here provided:

1)It's an anime video, or final fantasy type cg video - no non anime is allowed, no recording yourself playing a game, just anime videos
2)It doesn't have sexual nudity - if you're not sure, ask an admin/mod to view it before you upload
3)It doesn't have explicit violent content - again, if you're not sure, ask before uploading
4)It is under 100mb in total size - no videos over that
5)It's your video - no stealing someone else's vid and putting your name on it, no impersonating other vid creators

and the new one -

6)The anime used in the video was listed in the database - if you added a new title yourself, then you'll have to wait until the admin check to make sure it's really an anime before you can upload

Otherwise, click the 'Upload video' link on the member main page and follow the instructions. If it won't let you, then you didn't fill out the vid description information - check the 'how to upload' sticky at the top of this forum. A good ftp client is SmartFTP - do a google search and you should find it, it's free, and resumes nicely. ^.~

For reference to others, this definitely needs to be clarified somewhere if it hasn't been already (haven't entered a new vid in a few weeks). This is the second time in the last two days that I've seen the "what do I do with the links step" question get answered with instructions on how to use the Donut. The answers are technically correct, but they're not answering the right question.

Maybe a note on the Step 4 page to the effect of: "New users: you can skip to Step 5 if the video you are entering is not already hosted online." Not only would this (hopefully) result in fewer of these threads, it'll reduce confusion on link versus upload for those (few?) who lurk, search and read for answers to their questions instead of posting directly.
