besides, people who rush in to be helpful like that are usually the ones who get you into deeper debt than you're already in. this whole thing smells like ass.

Yah, there is a hidden agenda. I'll feel good when the money is collected and sent off. A feeling of accomplishment and the notion that I (and everyone who donates) actually made a difference to someone. How horrible.
