Sort 'All Opinions' page

Post by Daio Kaji » Thu Jun 03, 2004 8:09 pm

this really isn't a problem for the majority of members but...

if someone that has a lot of Opinions written (like myself... 250ish) is looking for a certain/specific op they wrote, it sumtims can take quite a while to find it, usually i have to try to remember how good/bad the video was to give me an idea of where to find it

so instead, could there be made a way to Sort the ops page so that you can see ur ops given sorted by the catagories that are already available?
basically including: Video Name/Composite Score and the like

it's already been done for the 'My Downloads' page, so hopefully doing this for the Ops page wouldn't pose much of a problem

-also, a chart that lets u know when u get new creator's comments added would be nice

I'd settle for a sort by date option. Anything to distinguish recent from old. I see no point writing reviews anymore since I can't tell what's a recently replied one against old ones. It almost discourages people from writing more reviews than they can memorize. Unless people aren't supposed to care if their feedback was helpful or not. But if that were the case, we wouldn't have the color change when a reply is added.

Yeah, my ops page is nasty to look through. I stopped bothering with it months ago, just gave me a headache scrolling through it. Which sucks since I rather liked giving feedback. :?

actually, to fix that, they could just have 'unread' feedback stay the current pinkish color, but if those comments have already been 'read' then make them a darker shade, maybe maroon or sumtin

that way, you can easily scroll quickly down ur list and see if there are any new comments added

whether this color change will happen to ALL new comments or just comments to YOUR specific op is fine either way imo
