don't forget the stipulation of having owned/downloaded/headbanged to at least one hammerfall album, prior to bashing said band. (closet hammerfall fans are prefectly accepted under the strict guidelines of dont ask dont tell)

Sorry I should have used a comma. I was saying Black Sabbath was the origin of Metal not there album Paranoid.

Nailz1000 you inject your own meaning into things and misinterpret everything. If I appear more vague, its to keep from confusing you. But I guess it did not work.

First off you seem to know jack about Black Sabbath.

Second I was using Slipknot and Nirvana as examples of anger and teen angst in music not metal. I had previously said Nirvana was Grunge/Alternative.

Try to keep up.

As for the Christian bands I searched a bit but it was taking to long to find them. I grew out of such things long ago. I am closer to being an agnostic but claim no group. I prefer to reason things out and make my own decisions.

Try Guns N' Rose's songs Back Off Bitch, Double Talkin' Jive, Raw Power, Perfect Crime, Get in the Ring, Garden of Eden, and Right Next Door to Hell to name a few. Like I said before, I go by musical standards like playing method. Knockin' on Heaven's Door was a power ballad type song but you probably expect something to sound like Quite Riot to be Metal. This not to say Quite Riot is bad by any means. Just a sound example.

Besides a Rose by any other name will still sound just as sweet.

As for my 'ideology' I only covered part because I did not think it necessary to cover the obvious. Guess I was wrong.

As for my favorite band its Metallica. I don't flaunt or deny. Unlike most I don't feel the need to parade around a particular band to gain acceptance by others.

Yeah some metal does try to survive. I guess that could be why some have stuck around. Maybe I shouldn't have used a word like semantics around metalheads.

What’s wrong with not wanting to start a theological debate. I got tired of people spouting biblical quotes at me long ago in high school. Too much cyclical logic is left over from the dark ages. I tended to get answers like this:

'It’s the Truth'....Why?.....'Because its in the bible (nobody ever seems to specify a version either.)'....Why is it in the bible?.....'Because it’s the truth.'

I didn't say all sections of Metal are Death Metal in disguise. Again with the injected meaning.

If the thread is being interpreted wrong, it's because you're not expressing your ideas clearly. Stop blaming everyone else for not understanding your obviously higher level of intellect.

I'd respond to more of your post, but

1. I've already stated I don't believe you understand what you're talking about on the issue enough to have any form of intellegent conversation.

2. You've been nothing but insulting since you started.

3. You're an egotisical fuck who obviously belongs in the goth rock scene writing poetry on how maggots will consume your twisted black soul, while discussing the finer points of death in a backlit alley drinking a cup of ice cold coffee brewed with amonia.
