naota's lament - sentimental and serious (FLCL+Lostprophets)

Post by rogueintellectproductions » Sat May 22, 2004 10:34 am

Hello, all. I'm pleased to announce my first serious video, naota's lament. It's a major departure from my other videos.

I was going to hold off until Otakon to u/l, but I wanted to get some feedback on it.

Thanks for giving it a peek.

Hate to doublepost, but it's been pointed out to me that I should mention that XviD will be necessary to view this video properly.

how is xvid necessary to view when it's an mpeg2 encode?

anywho good vid, a little dry in some parts, but I liked the idea.

Multiple encodes to reduce size. It took a miracle to get the size down to a reasonable amount - some people haven't been able to watch it, so I've been recommending XviD just in case.

I sincerely do not know what I'm doing.

Thanks for the comment.

The reason they can't play back the vid is because it's mpeg2 (or some sort) and not everyone has DVD (mpeg2) play back capabilities. Xvid is a whole other ballpark and has nothing to do with mpeg2..(directly that is)

You're right, it is mpeg2, now that I think about it. I really don't know what I'm doing, but i'll figure it out. Thank you for the info.
