Re: Poo for Plot
Nothing in particular wrong, but I was likeHeavyMetal wrote:What's wrong with FLCL. (I know its kind of a closed circle anime.)bote wrote:Good point. It has come to my attention that many shows I dislike are done extreme justice by AMV makers. There are so many good RahXephon videos now that it's frightening . FLCL can come in that category to from my point of view. 17 videos I kept on my HD are from these 2.
Just as a side note Wind of Change was cool. Got it from majin-planet. awhile back. Did you send a vid for the new fight club?
O.o Won't be entering this time since I have 2 good projects that I don't want to rush. The deadline is pretty soon and I need more time, but I'll have it all set to win No.7 or 8

ya know, i was actualy stating a valid opinion. i didnt just bitch about how it sucked and ripped of eva like i usualy do (but.......i havent seen the movie yet, and i will, just to bash it even more). if ya we're to realise (which ya didnt), i did actualy praise rahxephon for something)v(ajin Koji wrote:bum, We all know that you hate Rah so please stop broadcasting it. Movies or Series
FLCL does have that effect. You have to make connections, artistic analysis, and focus on the themes. Otherwise it's an utter spaz hour. It almost helps just to listen to it without watching it.bote wrote:Nothing in particular wrong, but I was like when I finished watching. Might be 'cause a lot of people praised it and I expected much more from what I've seen.

Kick ass. I can't wait to see the next videos. Of course I do worry about how long it might be until the next fight club.
For the topic.
I find that movies that stand alone or that function separate from a series make amvs that out do the actual movie.
Like the Brolly movie. Cool fights for AMVs not much for story.

and uh, i hate the hell out of flcl but it would probably make for some good amv's due to the nature of the scene's, which is quite different from most other stuff
