Nothing in particular wrong, but I was like :| when I finished watching. Might be 'cause a lot of people praised it and I expected much more from what I've seen.

O.o Won't be entering this time since I have 2 good projects that I don't want to rush. The deadline is pretty soon and I need more time, but I'll have it all set to win No.7 or 8 :twisted: .

FLCL does have that effect. You have to make connections, artistic analysis, and focus on the themes. Otherwise it's an utter spaz hour. It almost helps just to listen to it without watching it.

Kick ass. I can't wait to see the next videos. Of course I do worry about how long it might be until the next fight club.


For the topic.

I find that movies that stand alone or that function separate from a series make amvs that out do the actual movie.

Like the Brolly movie. Cool fights for AMVs not much for story.

Banner of the Stars / Crest of the Stars / Banner of the Stars II. BBMac Back in here video. That was the only one I've seen using these animes and it was good.

and uh, i hate the hell out of flcl but it would probably make for some good amv's due to the nature of the scene's, which is quite different from most other stuff
