Word on the street is that you lie.SnhKnives wrote:or you can make compltely newbie videos that are poor quality and stuff, like me
Back on topic, I used to be a newb that asked retarded questions. I also see the same people doing it every day. I personally am taking this time to vent, because I don't remember being an ass right off the bat. When someone argues and tries to make someone else look stupid, I stay out of it unless it is directed at me. But that has happened only once, I think.

To Much of a Forum
I didn't find people to be assholes on it. A little condescending at times maybe.
I liked Saratheboring's point about supporting anime in particular.
Some of the people needed to learn to use white space in posts, but actually had some good info.
I stopped after a few random pages I read because its old and boring.
There are better guides to read than that post. I prefer ones on long standing sites with long time vid creators myself.
AD's and Ermac's guide has some useful info and links to the best software to use, but other than that stick to the guides on individual sites.
Do take the advice of not using WMV. It isn't that much of a step up from other formats. It also has difficulty playing in some programs.
Don't know why he said realplayer was bad. I love it myself.
I can have all the videos I have downloaded in the playlist for the most part with realplayer. On the other hand I can't do the same with other programs because some use RM format.
It can't be edited later, but I like that. It keeps people from stealing your video or releasing a low quality version with your name on it.
The guide I read many years ago suggested RM. It worked well for them. Some people don't like it because it is another thing to learn. I find that it helps compress things to a much smaller size without killing quality myself. Oh well to each his own.
Check around on some of the bigger or longer standing sights. See what they say and do.
I suggest Dragonball Arena, Aluminum Studios, Majin-Planet.net, Trunks Hope, and NeoGohan.
Keep in mind that it was a forum topic. People debate so it makes for a place to get tips to try not an actual guide.

NME is a jackass. He's the first troll I met on the board.
And if any of you guys have seen my posts on other boards, you'd know I'm a complete jerkoff. If I offend a n00b in any way, it's because I meant to.
NME, would you like some sausage?
