48 kHz --> 44 kHz... Best Option?

Post by VegettoEX » Fri May 14, 2004 11:30 pm

Totally nothing to do with an actual AMV (at this point, anyway)... but I've ripped some audio files off of a PS2 game, and have successfully converted the ADX files over to WAV files.

They're standard 48 kHz WAV files now, which is great and all, but if I want to burn them to CD, I'll need them as 44 kHz. What's the best way to go about doing this? I've got an old CoolEdit that will downsample, but I don't think it does all that great of a job.

Any other suggestions?

their downsample works better than most you'll find coming with any cd burning package.

In fact if you've got a soundblaster live or some 1st gen audigy, you got an 'express' version of soundforge.

Alternatively, SSRC used in BeSweet is considered the best free sampling rate converter in existence.
