my first AMV - Apocalypse Macross

Post by novablastr » Fri May 14, 2004 2:29 am

Hi,

Thought I'd post my first AMV. I had problems uploading, so it took me awhile and a lot of frustration, but here's the link under my real username-novablast

All opinions are appreciated.

Not bad. I found some parts of the song you could have done more with, Mostly in the middle and end. Had a good shot for ending the vid. Not a bad first vid.

What program did you use to make this? For a first video is nicely done :!:

robin,

what parts could've had more? i'm interested in hearing more.

as for the program i used vegas 4, which at first i scoffed at but it actually works quite well taking different formats and codecs within a project. i didn't have to worry about extra files and rendering isn't too bad.

I'm planning on making a video to this song.

Ok first vid but I guess maybe the song makes me watch it.

wow, nice first vid. Nice editing overall, you did alot of timing to little things, something you don;t often see in a first vid. THere are a few timing glitches, like a few scenes seemed to come a bit early or a bit late, but they are minor. I agree with tobin in that a few parts you could have done more with. But Definately Great job for a first vid! *puts in keep folder*

I may op it in detail.... but.... *looks at 7+ page op thread* yea... it may take a while ;p

for the op. i know i could've done a little more, but i think i was waning back and forth about content amount, and decided to go for as is. although i felt i was doing a lot with the zooms, moving, etc. there almost seemed no rest or downtime for the eye and so i made some parts a little slow or off.
