Except it is a "frickin' lovesong about Sakura and Lei" and appears to be "another blasted CCS Movie 2 video". No Pokemon music, however.dokool wrote:There was a decent CCS vid submited to Anime Boston, check amv-contest-lists.org to see if you can find it.
On topic: more Geo-Armor vids (aka Kishin Heidan). It's got giant robots, aliens from space, Nazi's, babes, trains, planes, fast cars, submarines...and Albert Einstein. Should be enough material there for something. The four-hour OAV goes for about $25.

Sorry...I should have added that this is not my opinion of the video. I was just quoting Dr. Zar's "requirements". He may want to avoid this one.TaranT wrote:Except it is a "frickin' lovesong about Sakura and Lei" and appears to be "another blasted CCS Movie 2 video". No Pokemon music, however.

Well, I've done a CCS vid with a song that was fairly original back when I used it (4 new ones came out a month later). It's nothing to compare to Doki's comedy vid, but it tells a nice story if you like the characters.

/disclaimer - it's an older vid and yes, I know all about the little flaws it has

Hmm.. Tsukihime has potential for moody AVMs. Bottle Fairy has been asked (waves at Janzki). Tokyo Mew Mew AMVs I haven't seen. Kokoro Library, Happy Lesson, Star Ocean EX, Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito.. yes. There are several animes that haven't been used very much, and those mentioned are just a small fraction of it.

I definatly agree on "You're Under Arrest" a better alternative to Gunsmith Cats vids...but then that's my opinion.
"Burn Up Excess", "Noir" (wait there might be some vids there), it's just a shame that the majority of vids is dominated by the MAINSTREAM.

American and Anime shows can be amazing...and they can suck in equal measure, neither is superior to the other.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE PERFECT CARTOON, OR THE PERFECT ANIME, BOTH HAVE POSITVES AND NEGATIVES.

Although there is a fair amount, I would still like to see more Lain. Now and Then Here and There is also uncommon. Beserk, Blue sub 6, and Blood: the last vampire are also ones I'd like to see more of. You know, just more dark/horror videos in general. Any trippy anime will do. (Can't wait for Globocide's contest.

You can't go wrong with Nazi's!
(Nazi's+women+fast cars=Instant success!

OMG! You have to tell me what you get that video done Rubeye. I've been wanting to see a video to that anime...although I admit the actual animation graphics are not great. I just loved the show. LMK or announce it when you're done k?rubyeye wrote:I'm working on it...patience.bubblehead wrote: and... um... Silent Mobius. I've seen several vids, liked none.![]()
But, um, there could be more Kurogane Communication, Figure 17, and BGC:2040.
