Staff Topic/List & other suggestion...

Make a topic in announcements where the admins and mods are listed... As well as other staff of website; this will reduce confusion .

Also.. get that gender mod which tells if the member is a male or female.

Invisi-mods. We aren't supposed to know who they are. And until recently, we didn't 'know' who the admins are. AD and Pazuri (sp?) didn't become 'visible' until they decided they wanted to. It's done on purpose to eliminate the thread to the 'real' people who act as mods here - so they don't get attacked at a con or something.

At least, that's what they said in the announcement where AD and Pazuri 'came out of the closet' and were revealed as admins.

Moderators/Admins have the opportunity to stay anonymous or make their status public. Aside from me, only AbsoluteDestiny and Paizuri have stepped forward to acknowledge their status as admins.

Why? So that members can more easily be discriminated against? Members can easily make thier gender known in their profile or sig if they wanted to.

I know you have the Forums already modded from here to hell and back but what about the Global Announcements mod, you could make 1 topic with forum wide rules and it would put it on top of all announcements in each forum

No (what the..) ... it feels much better knowing who you are talking to.. the avvys really confuse me.
I don't want to put it in my sig either..

Also, that reminds me of the Profile Link mod, you click on the member who has posted something to see their profile directly; I use it in my forums and it rocks .

If you don't know the person well enough to know their gender then you shouldn't be asking for a date. Other than that, I don't see much of a reason to know someones gender. For all I care Phade could be a cross-dressing pre-op transexual lesbian, it wouldn't change what I think of what he says or does in the slightest and there's no reason for me to know that.
