...I loved Serial Experiments Lain.

I don't want anyone to post on this topic anymore. You're just being mean.

Personally, I'm a big fan of movies in general, and Millenium Actress for me ranks in at being number one. So yes, I really loved this film.

When I said that you were dense, I didn't mean it as a personal attack, or as really an insult. You just apparently took it that way. As to being curteous, or the part about "personal attacks", I generally am, as are others, quite curteous. If you wish to complain about that, feel free to do it in a thread that actually warrants it, as there are several threads currently going that could use it far more than this one.

I loved it too. I may not watch it more than once in a long while but it is certainly an amazing story told through one of the most amazing styles of anime. Not necessarily the look of art but rather how it is shown. I am very satisfied with purchasing it.

Oh bull, that's the lamest slap in the face aiming for a mosquitoe prank I have ever seen.

Be it Quentin Tarantino or Satoshi Kon:
There are movies.
There are good and bad movies.
There are movies that bend and twist the human perspective and those who follow it adamantly to almost depressing levels.
A movie is a type of media... so are crayons, some make art, others make pictures their mommy's hang on the fridge with those damned neon colored alphabet magnets that no one ever spells anything with.
Just like art there are those who don't understand* it and those who don't.

*Understanding and not understanding ART has no bearing on intellect no matter how much you try. Ink blots are Ink blots... or are they?

So EvaXephon, you really thought Millenium Actress was confusing? That's okay. I've got a idea. Try watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. Hardly confusing at all, I'm sure you'll like it.

HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! You sucker!
Probably too busy to be here right now.
