True, but as for the coolness factor, Spike definately has Vash beat

True also. But it's a pain in the ass just to beat someone unconcious. It's just easier to kill 'em. I still think that Spike would have a fair chance against Vash.

See what I'm getting at? Trigun and Bebop are, overall, too different in their ways to work...especially considering:
-Spike is an insanely lucky man who can only be killed by one person
and
-Vash is an equally lucky super-human who hates having to use his abilities

Besides, given how Vash responds to bounty hunters it wouldn't be a fight so much as him repeatedly escaping from Spike (and pissing him off in the process)

...anyways...yeah, this idea's been done to death, everyone will have their different inputs on it...

p.s. Again, I'll ask, just how could one persuade Vash to fight Spike...as a rule, Vash only fights to protect civilians...and Spike's not exactly the kind of person to start randomly attacking people

Ah, Heero, th fruit speech again? It was good the first time...also, it would be fairly easy to get a fight between Vash and Spike going 'cause Spike's a bounty hunter and Vash is a bounty! That's a key plot device for my CB/Trigun fanfic that I might someday write out.

Ummm...how well were you watching Trigun?

Once again, I'll say the only way you can get Vash to fight someone is if he's protecting others...

And don't use the excuse that he'd fight back cause he's a bounty...sure, he 'fought' Descartes and Ruth Loose, but that was in part because they were going to hurt Meryl & Milly...I mean, look at the first encounter with the Nebraska Family...an entire town hunting him...did he fight back? No, all the injuries were from things the townsfolk did trying to catch him.
As for Gofsef...again, he only hurt him to protect those women.

I said it before, I'll say it again, the only way Spike could drive Vash to fight him would be to start randomly attacking civilians...and frankly, I don't think Spike would resort to that (since, as far as he would probably be concerned, a bounty with no interest in fighting is easy money)

It wouldn't be a fight, it would be a massive chase

But isn't he like genetically created of a lab tube? Plus I think his mother would be dead because he doesn't seem to age.
