Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I didn't like the use of text. I don't think it added something to the video, it rather disturbs. The font was very subtle as well.

Aside from that, great job. I haven't seen ANC, but I guess its rather slow paced, so you did very well putting up such a fast pace in this video which keeps for about 2 minutes towards the end. I love that :)

Makes me want to watch the anime, I like the artwork ...

actually if you want to wait, I think I found a way to shrink the filesize a bit using temporal smoothers. (Why do I always find these things out after I premiere the vid....)I also toned down the whites a bit, Otherwise, Editing and footage is unchanged. I will replace the ones on my website with the better ones when I finish getting the settings and everything right to get the best encode. I'm also fixing some mistakes in the credits. Forgot to credit the song used for the AuN logo to Jared hudson, and corrected pen-pen2004 to pen-pen2002 (bad habbit probably from check writing...)

As for the text, It was nessesary for the concept. The whole thing is based off of the fortune told to the girl in the very begining of the series, and the Video acts like what she is seeing in the crystal ball, and the text is the actual fortune as she tells it to her. Although I can see where the text may be a bit plain...But It was the best looking font I had for what I wanted there, Everything else I tried didn't look good at all. Didn't fit the mood.

I will post when the better encode is available.

awesome amv, its a keeper, so it shall remain on my hard drive untill i format or sumfin...

total marks 5/5 , you can tell alot of hard work went into it.

i would recomand this to a complete strangler on the street weather or not they know wot an amv is.

I bring to you..... Angel's Redemption..... REMASTERED!

Alrighty, after many premiere crashes, what seemed like 100s of trail encodes with various settings, and playing with tons of filters, I now bring you the remastered versions of Angel's Redemption in both HQ Xvid and MPEG formats. With New and Improved toned down White flashes! Yes for you epelipic prone people out there, I have heard your plea. Whites are toned down in this version, But only available off my website. For those who care, Here they are:

Now its time for me to leave this alone and get to working on the Instrumental Anime Music Video Project: Fantasia.

I think there is something wrong with the Xvid encode. I can't get it to play in anything. :cry:
