Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Darn it, I need to get used to this no edit button thing. I ment to reply on the subject of the series aswell. I agree with Corran on the series execution being completely random, and wanted to note that my AMV actually attempts to mimic this kind of execution. (which was just another personal challenge i gave myself) I forgot to mention this in the video description.
Anyway, the series is good, just not one of my personal favorites. The story is definately solid though, and because of the weird execution, might have to watch through it at least twice to get everything.

Now, sorry to be late for the party here...
Wow... and this is the person who complemented me on my editing?
Frankly, there's so much editing and effort here, it's hard not to give it credit. Dark? Yes, very. Easy on the eyes? Not very. It's a shame I haven't seen the series, but I can already see what sorts of things you're getting at here.
It has a point and it gets it across. Probably not in the immideate way that more visually-straightforward videos do, but it is there. I guess it'll take some watching to figure out just how the whole thing comes together...
Anyways, good work. I can't say you didn't end up with the sort of thing you were trying to get at, so I suppose it's well worth the effort.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I just realized how utterly easy it is to tone down those whites, since i'm just using 1 photoshop image. All i gotta do is set the transparancy on it lower, or fill it with a grey in photoshop and all of them in the AMV will be altered. SO I think i will make a ver 1.1 for those who complained about the white flashes. Look back here for the updated version in a few ;p
Otaku: yea it will do that to ya, especially if you havn't seen the series.
Everyone: Thanks for the supportive comments, You've made my day ^_^.
Oh, and if you feel so inclined, Feel free to leave an OP for it, regardless to what the score is, as long as its honest.

Do want another detailed review or just a general? By this point you should have a pretty good idea on my input.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Yea a general would be fine of just what changed since the beta you last reviewed I guess. or you could do what pen-pen did and post the original comments from the beta and change just whats new. I'll leave that choice upto you.madbunny wrote:

zest: thanks, glad you liked it.
Already seeing it poping up on some peoples top 10

I did go in to reduce the whites in it, but I found I can;t just alter the image alone because I use it for the fades also. So I have to go in and alter the opacity on them individually. I'm going to see if I can shrink the filesize a bit by trying to convert it to 24fps also. I shouldve edited in it from the begining. (lesson learned) Hopefully it won't screw up the timing.
