I Need some help.

I'm trying to make video using kingdom of chaos, and the only copies I could find have subs. the subs are in the black margins but they are distracting and gaudy, was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get rid of them?

This should probably be in video software help.

Use Avisynth.

Crop the top and bottom of your video, and add black bars (also in avisynth) to maintain the aspect ratio.

You might want to look at the guides, specifically this part: Dealing with anamorphic sources

yeah check out the guides, or you can lay black bars on your Video2 line to cover up the subtitles, or you can crop the images using the editor, virtualdub or avisynth, but make sure to put your video back into anamorphic widescreen format (or whatever it is)
