Bring Me to Life videos overdone or not any good ones out...

My question to anyone is that Bring Me to Life by Evanescene eventhough used alot. Is it overdone and should be dropped or continue making them until there is a good video out for them? And if someone created a good Evanescene bring me to life video how would that affect the persons originality?

The songs called "Wake Me Up Inside" btw

I think if someone made an awesome bring me to life video then people would give it 9s and 10s for originality because people give high scores to things they enjoy. I would just judge the originality based on the execution rather than idea since the idea has been done to def.

Amazon.com lists the song on the album 'Fallen' as being titled 'Bring Me to Life.' I don't know if they're an authority, but I'm pretty sure that's the title given on the cd my friend Chris has (the first time I heard it was right after it came out on cd). I've never actually heard the 'live' version, but I've been told it *does* have a different name - hence all the seemingly eroneous vids listing 'Wake Me up Inside'. Just different versions of the song.

There are approximately 250 "Bring Me To Life" videos listed in the Org catalog. Yes, I personally consider the song to be overdone.. But if you want to make a vid using that song, go right ahead! There might be people out there in the AMV community who have not seen any "Bring Me To Life" videos, or maybe they've yet to see BMTL vids containing their favorite anime. You shouldn't let other videos prevent you from creating what you want to create. Also, for originality scoring, I just think it depends on who will be watching your video and they will judge accordingly.

The live version (or a remix) is called 'Wake me up inside' - the original was 'Bring Me to Life'. So you're both right. No need to argue over the title.

As for the question - the more overused a combination/song/anime is, the harder it is to make a good video to that choice. So if the vid is good, I'll mark the originality even higher becuase it's so *rare* to see a good vid set to that. And I grade 'originality' on whether or not I've seen it before. I haven't seen that many good vids to the song (either versions/names).
