Excellent vid there, I agree!
I gotta admit that early on, some of the filters, especially the old film one, seemed to be a bit annoying. Well, maybe they are annoying. But when you had that transition from that to full color, it was beautiful to say the least.
So, definitely not subtle as far as effects...
But excellent nonetheless. Original and effective.
