Art Section?

Don't get me wrong, it's not wisdom - it's just that if you'd been here you would have read this thread:

Look it over and you'll see that it's fruitless to ask for new 'off-topic' sections - where 'offtopic' means anything not directly pertaning to making amvs. Even the Anime and Music sections aren't safe, they just haven't been deleted yet (and won't be if we don't 'abuse the privilege' of having them). Just read it over.

If you still have an argument, go for it. Just make sure you know where you and your opposition stand in regards to 'off-topic' sections.

Yeah, and don't get me wrong, I'm all for another OT section (or something of that nature). But I realize that it really isn't going to happen. It was fun while it lasted, and I was sad to see it go... but I'll take what I've got and let it go becuase there isn't much I can do. Go to Demonseal and see if that's anything close to what you're looking for. ^_^

well, when i said wisdom, i meant stuff that eludes my knowledge. i might hit demonseal up, but to be honest, not sure if i liked it.

btw, what exactly did people do to get the art section disabled?

There wasn't a specific 'art-only' section, but the threads concerning that usually were placed in the General OT section. That went when the OT and AAM sections were wiped out - in that thread I linked to. Anything and everything not specifically anime, music, or amv oriented was deleted with the OT sections. And anything relating to the amv creators/watchers personal lives (hobbies such as fanfiction and art included) were sent to be talked about in journals or the chat room - having no place in the forum).

I here from other members and other admins and moderators but I have yet to here Phade's Opinion on this, and I do understand that he is busy and all with the site...but it wouldn't take much to say 'Yes' or 'No' and post the reason why, or if a Mod/Admin would be kind enough to give me a link about him addressing the Art Section Issue.

There was no Art Section. There was an Off Topic section and it was removed for reasons which have been reiterated ad infinitum.

Thats nice.....I'm talking about the Art Section, not the Off-Topic Section.
