It would make a geat difference if they added 'editing time/creation time' as a category in the vid description. But it looks like that suggestion was turned down - in which case it's only a big deal to those people who put importance on 'creation time'.

Just think, one person counts from the moment he first gets the idea and has 4 months as his time 'creating.'

Another person only counts hard editing time with prepared footage, and has 52 hours.

Who looks like he worked harder on the vid? To those who actually care about editing time, the way people count should be very important. And if it isn't, then they need to be taught not to compare the proverbial 'apples to oranges.'

You might want to read the 'all things audio and video' guide. DvdDecryptor automatically bypasses write protection when ripping dvds. As far as I know, smartripper does as well.

God I hate myself.

Rip protected, I meant.

Does the guide have links to DVD decryptor and Smartripper?

You can get dvddecryptor in the download section at www.doom9.org - I don't know about smartripper (never used it).

Yes. Also, for undertaking what you seem to aspire that whole thing should be required reading...

Well pretty much all the time I don't spend on AMV's and the .org is spent writing fan fiction. I'll see if I can squeeze it in.

Wow. I've opened 3 menus so far and I already love this program.

2 questions. Does this mean I won't have to rely on InterVideo to tape all my footage onto my cpu, and how long does it take to rip a 20 minute episode?

*stares at the monitor*

Pimpin...

Sadly though, digimon doesn't come on DVD. All I can do is take crappy episodes from taped VHS. Also the foxkids logo is impossible to get rid of. When you crop it looks like shit, and when you use logoaway it looks like shit.
