but other raggae singers are great too
not as marley is
that's for sure

This can get into a big flame fight real fast, mainly cause you got the metal head, like me, farlo, nailz and flint, then you have the people who listen only to rap, then there's rock, it'd be too much of a mess.

Good: metal, thrash

bad: rap, r&b, country

x5.....we already have a gargantuan flamefest of what to like or not, it's that thirteen-page what-music-does-everyone-like thread.

My personal rules:
If you can hear it on the radio, you probably shouldn't.
If the band's name/logo is legible, it probably sucks.
Unless it was originally issued on a micro-label in 1985, in a run of less than 1000 copies, in which case it's unquestionably some of the best music ever made.

If you had a thread called 'music you like/dislike', it would be acceptable; granted, I don't have any music I hate or think shouldn't be listened to, but I have some that I don't consider high-quality and avoid.

But to say that my mere subjective judgement is universally true - well... that's an oxymoron
