No. All animes are manga's.

There's quite a few which had subsequent manga follow-ups (for example, while there's several Gundam-based manga titles, they're all created to serve as side-stories for the already existing animes.)

Some other titles not based on mangas (as far as I can see):
SDF Macross
Aura Battler Dunbine
Vampire Hunter D (although to be fair, this one came from a novel)
Wicked City
Dai-Guard
Blue Gender
Cowboy Bebop (again, the manga was released after the series)
and
El Hazard (once again, the manga was an alternate telling made after the original OVA)

To name a few...

Neon Genesis Evangelion
FLCL
The Big O, if I read the back cover of that book in the Borders correctly

... were all anime series before they were manga.

I can't think of any titles myself atm, but there are some animes with no mangas and even a few mangas with no animes.

Uh.... More than a few. Quite a bit more mangas than animes.

Well excuse me, they didn't ask for how many, just if there were any at all :)

"even a few" implies that it is the exception rather than the rule. As far as I am aware, the opposite is the case.

Mangas don't just include anime related ones though. The Ring is a manga, and it's not anime.
