I'm feeling opinionated. 10 free ops for mellow vids.

A surprisingly enjoyable video! Thanks for suggesting it.

I agree, i hate avril lavigne toomadbunny wrote:If your video quality was any better, you'd have to hire an animator.LightningCountX wrote:Kenshin's With You
Song: Im With You
Artist: Avril Lavigne(Yuck)
Anime: Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin
Mood: Love
The sound was top notch too, I could hear every screech and misnote from ms Lavigne throughout the video.
High scores, with a low review factor, mainly from the musical artist.
Im glad you enjoyed the video although the artist sucked 8)

hey, glad you liked the vid. one question, you mentioned wondering which compression I used for the audio, since you said it seemed to lack some low end. which copy did you dl? the direct/indirect links are Xvid, with LAME mp3 audio, and the local one is MPEG2.madbunny wrote:norskotaku wrote:check out my latest: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=34827 if you still have the time. it's mostly on the fun, light-hearted side of romance, I think.

Thanks for the comments!
I agree, FF (especially FF8) has been done to death, so its difficult to create a new angle to approach it from other than saying, "Well I could have done THAT better," so I tried to focus on Rinoa rather than Squall and their relationship. That said, the repeition of FMV sequences (the ones showing Squall) were intentional, because until the end part, they are supposed to be flashes of him in her mind, or memories, which are why they are brief. I wasn't sure if they would seem tedious or that the audience would pick up on what I was going for, so I'm glad you mentioned them since no one has as of yet. Thanks again! [/quote]

I'll PM you later on, since I left that copy on my computer at home. Generally speaking unless mentioned in the video description I try to download the largest file available, on the assumption that the larger file will contain the higher resolution or bitrate.norskotaku wrote: hey, glad you liked the vid. one question, you mentioned wondering which compression I used for the audio, since you said it seemed to lack some low end. which copy did you dl? the direct/indirect links are Xvid, with LAME mp3 audio, and the local one is MPEG2.
Getting your review done was such a frustrating process. I'd tried to watch it at work, but for over two and a half hours I was unable to get an uninterupted viewing session in. Eventually I did see it, first bits and peices, and then the whole thing, but I was so pissed at everyone interupting me that I took it out on your video. Sensing the innate unfairness in that, I waited till later, and watched it again. This time you got a nice long, detailed review listing everything... and the internet crashed, losing the review. Grr. Third time was at home... finally it worked. So, you actually got a triplicate review from me. 8)LightningCountX wrote: I agree, i hate avril lavigne too

After some problems, I eventually went with your FF vid.ek1 wrote:"Fuuh! Fuuh! ...Is this still on?"

Normally FF vids just don't work, mainly due to the lack of footage, but in this case it was quite good. You maximized virtually every lyric of the song to your footage. Plus, I'm a sucker for this sort of thing anyway.
Thanks for suggesting this one.
