I find it baffling how some people can accomplish a lot in a short time, while others never get anywhere in a long time.

For one, I'd be lucky if I have 5 videos by the end of my first year here... Perhaps 6 by the anniversary of my 'editing initiation'... but anyway.

Hey x_rex30, I noticed you seem to be having a bit of trouble with quoting other people's words.

The proper format for quoting is.

[quote="original poster's name"]whatever he/she said[/quote]

You don't have to have the name in there if you want, but make sure you always have the [quote] tag at the beginning of the other person's words, and [/quote] at the end. And if you do want to have a name in there, make sure you have the name with the quotation marks (meaning, "like this").

/end quick but friendly quoting tutorial

I quite agree. I've been on the org for more than three years and have exactly fourteen videos done. I'm amazed at the amount and quality of that amount that some other members have released. It just boggles my mind.

I was talking out of line. Its called trying to explain something but not knowing how to put it in words. Its really hard to explain the topic in hear and I have a misunderstanding of how to work with the forums. If that doesn't make sence to you then maybe you just dont want to make sence out of it.

For instance, look at BogoSort. He's got only 5 vids to his name in the what? 3 years he's been here.

Quality over quantity, I say.

Well check this K. Ive been stuck for two years with very little access to a computer. Also I should mention that I posted one video out of 10 or more Videos. My best vid is on VHS and I can not tranfer it to a computer. So dont be quick to judge.

WTH? I wasn't judging anyone, in fact, quite the contrary. I was saying that I myself haven't gotten very many videos done, and neither have some very famous editors either, so I don't disrespect anyone who's in that kind of a situation.
