how do you respond to others responding to you and have it shown?

Also since your responding maybe your good at general help with the site. do you know anyway to change your membership name. Cause ive had x_rex for like three years and i want to change it if i can.

You mean a way to edit someone else's post - the way mods do - so your words appear inside the other person's post.

Only mods can edit posts on this forum, so only they can have their text appear inside someone else's post (unless you quote someone else in your post). The main reason being - after you post, that message cannot be changed by anyone except a mod - so any 'after the fact' text that might appear in that post comes from a mod.

As for member names - you have to contact Phade and ask him to change it for you. An email or PM might do the trick, if you ask nicely. ^.~

Anyways, I've heard of people wanting a name change before, but I'm yet to see an actual case of this being done around here...

It's happened a couple of times, it's just a PITA so doesn't happen very often.
