Is there anyone using this forum besides the profesionals.
I made a few subjects to be read in the forums and all the people who freakin respond are highly professional AMV creators. I look under everyones personal profile and everyone who ever seems to respond to me are these very judgemental profesional editors. If other amature is gettin the same problem then give me a respond. When i mean amature i mean someone who isn't on here twenty for seven infesting the entire forum ^_^.

There aren't "professional" creators. We don't do this for a living or anything like that, although there are some people who work in video outside of AMV-ing.
There's also nobody "infesting" the forums "twenty for seven." We have lives, but we also have irregular sleeping patterns.
However, you haven't exactly proven to be a perfect new member either (although 'new member' is a misnomer since your account was created back in 2001). Your posts are riddled with bad spelling/grammar and you've done almost nothing but pimp out your four-hour-video and claim to be hot shit, and then you go ahead and make an elitism post.
Calm down, man. It's a hobby. Treat others as you want to be treated and lay off the crack rock. If so-called "professionals" are "infesting" the forum, then where are you getting the free time to respond to everyone's posts within minutes?

Hey Calm down. Im new too the forum and im just woundering why no amuters send me a comment. i may have spoke a little out of line. I LOVE AMVs dont get me wrong and i really would spend allot of time making them as well if my computer wasnt so slow and infested with virus like things. i trully respect all AMV lovers and dont hate editors. I just dont like the people that are actually capable of making good videos to try to dog me cause i dont get hundreds of comments like they get. so sorry if that offended you. I really ment to say those things just to get allitle bit less of proffesionals replying thats all. ^_^dokool wrote:Um, what the fuck?x_rex30 wrote:I made a few subjects to be read in the forums and all the people who freakin respond are highly professional AMV creators. Hey thanx man. I didnt expect any halph way normal comments like that. i am an amuture in the forums but im a long time member of AMV. Youd probribly think what the F*** if you looked in my profile cause i dont really have any uploaded vids. The other vids are either low quality and need rebuilding or are projects that are on tape that need to get transferd. At least i get allot of credit for my work on my VHS's..... heh-_^ hopefully i wont get attacked at every opertunity once i can post those AMVs. anyways thanx for the replyPie Row Maniac wrote:When has Rex talked as if he were hot shit, Dokool? And his post is hardly elitism. Lay off the noobs, man.
Rex, your post just made little sense anyways. The "professionals" just respond to whatever they feel like responding to. We're just like everyone else.

Whoa, am I one of the professionals? Damnit, where's my freaking paycheck? Someones holding out on me with the money and there'll be hell to pay if I ever figure out who it is!
Anyway, the reason it appears that most people responding to you are 'professional' is that most people really active on the forums have been doing this awhile. Of course they're going to be better than new people. Besides there's a community here and like most other communities the new guy just doesn't quite fit in at first. Don't bitch about it, it's just the way things work. If it matters any I've been doing AMVs less than a year and I've been semi-active in the forums for far less than that so these statements are coming from someone more towards the amature level than the professional level.
Incidently, the 24/7 forum thing is because I have a job that requires me to waste alot of time. My job has internet access. It also has a proxy that blocks all the really fun sites. What the hell else am I going to do but hang around forums frequently?

? uhh i guess it is but thats what you get with most posts along with AMV here. Not to say the sites bad or anything. This is one of my favorite sites and i love many of the videos ive downloaded. Whats so different from this one compaired to most. It makes your comment pointless to post here. Ill tell you one thing im happy about you responding. You could be the first amuter to respond. So youve answered my question. So thanx. Also get lost. K. Sick off comments to these post that go nowher.bum wrote:im still a prety ameture amv'er but i allways stick around here, mainly in the video forums. though this is a prety boring post
