No Creed?

The reason POD has so many done is that A, most people don't think of POD as a "christian" rock group, and B, their music is easily translatable into meaningless action videos...

I've never found any "christain" amvs to be a religious experience. it all turns out to be something of a semi-"nice attempt" sort of thing.

care to point out one that'll convert some peeps?

All the animes I know don't do anything pro-Christian. If it has anything to do with the Bible, it's usually a mesage of anti-Christian. Those wacky Japanese.

EoE proves that anime should just stay far, far away from religion...

The interesting thing is that despite the fact that the dominant Japanese "religion" is a mixture of Shinto and Buddhism, you still see references to a (hypothetically monotheistic) God popping up everywhere, from Evangelion to Hellsing and more... lots of anime also deal with the world moving towards this singular existence of sorts (like Eva, Lain, RahXephon, Akira in a way, etc)... fascinating stuff all around.

If this thread becomes a religion debate I'm going to have to close it down.

WHO STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR?
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
