I don't understand why anyone would claim somebody else's AMV as their own. What do they get out of it?

One time some idiot put my Bachelorette video under his profile and claimed that he made it for his girlfriend. Well, since I'm the one who actually made it, does that mean that I get to be the one to fuck his girlfriend?
