I thought he was just writing in Premiere using "Add title."

Nope- he had Photoshop open for that. Well, OK- it was originally opened up to try and make a gradient, but he forgot how, and just kept it open and used it to type to the audience.

*Ahem* I did
not forget how to make a gradient in Photoshop. I wasn't
that drunk...yet

.
Basically I had a really stupid idea of making a simple rectangular mask in Photoshop and have some of my (badly-done) lip-syncs in them. I scrapped the idea, but kept Photoshop open since I figured I'd need it.
I was wrong...well other than pure entertainment purposes

. I was going to use Notepad for the UIUC folks (old memories *sigh*), but it would've been too small to read.

Not exactly. I guess this isn't relevant to me since I put "hours" vs. "Days" or "Months," but when I say I worked "100 hours in two weeks" that usually means I worked on it every day. I generally edit two or three hours a night during crunch times like now (summer cons are upon us).
Regardless I still agree that there are too many holes in the implementation of this, as well as loopholes.
