I was wondering... the prevailing trend in the cleaning-up of the anime entries in the database seems to have been towards naming series by their official R1 names (His and Her Circumstances and Please Teacher rather than Kare Kano and Onegai Teacher, for example)...
so why do we have
Abenobashi Magical Shopping District
and not
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi?
(I haven't even seen the series, it's just something that's been bothering me.)

Honestly I'm not sure where I stand on this. There is most definitely a need for standardisation. On the other hand. I have trouble referring to said titles by their "english translation names" Things like "Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi" or "Please Teacher" (I find this especially annoying considering that they call it Onegai Teacher in the japanese dub)

Because when I did the standardisation I didnt' realise that ADV had gone with Magical Shopping Arcade as the title.Scintilla wrote:so why do we have

Luckily, as it's just one entry, it's easy to fix.
All the standardisations are justwhatever I thought was right at the time - the decisions for things are open to debate and when I completed the standardisations I did ask people to let me know if there was anything they didn't agree with.
