Star system for Catagories.

Other then haveing the weekly and the all-time-highest rated vid lists I was wondering why a system for searching out the highest rated vids of each catagory hasn't been implemented yet. With about 103 pages worth of videos that have been put on the Local server its hard to diversify amongst them if your looking for a particular catagory like say Action or Romance. Besides some of the best of a certain catagory may be lower just because its of that catagory.

I thought about this after reading some of this thread. Just got me to thinking that certain less fun, more drama/serious probably get lower scores and tend to rank lower. Even tho they may be good vids, so if I wanted to say... search for a very serious good vid I could just click on the filter button like they have in the opinion's. I would have a difficult time searching for one of them vids in the 103 pages full of them.

Anyways, its just a thought on improving the Star ratings usefullness because I don't find it all that useful as of now provided I do use it once in awhile to see who's out there.

Hey,

There is the sort option for the star average in the Super Search (see this post). You should be able to type in the category name, like "serious", order the results by star average, and you then have your list of videos by category ordered by star average. Is that what you were looking for?
