Bah, face it... we've been in a slump ever since the first video was made. :?

Agreed, that first video has got to be like the most popular vid out there. People come in all the time asking "What was the first video" and "Where can I download it". Nobody seems to know, but people are still asking about it. :P

All records of "The First" have been destroyed. And few dare to speak of it.

I think I saw it at an AMV panel, that right!!
It used Star Blazers and some rock song that my mind can't think
of off hand.

Sidetrack: Right now I'm working on my first true action video and
I'm constantly going is this allowed is that allowed. It's really hard
to judge, I really want to use some great scenes from prefect blue
,but, I don't want to edit out the nudity "in the screwdriver squence"
cuase it supplies a reasonal for the murder. How far is excessive violence
in an action video?

When:
I) We find it.
II) We find out who made it, and discover that it has been destroyed.

Either or.

well around january 2002 i was pumping out vids left and right.. no slump for that time.. although after august i stopped making em for a while.. but i quickly got back on track in 2003.. but as i recall many people were dropping out of the amv community and the videos were decreasing from others *thats what i saw*

Faces of death *dead bodies everywhere* thats a bit too far.. i honestly dont know...
Bah, face it... we've been in a slump ever since the first video was made.

not everyone has.. just force yourself to edit a vid and then it should all come back to ya.. do a linkin park DBZ vid..

ROFLMAO

Wasn't the first some Gundam one that actually had an 20 year anniversary recently? :P

Nowadays I get very surprized to see so many good videos. Comparing to 2001 todays video are, in technical division, by far superior. Tze tze...all the methods have been revealed  . I dld some old videos from time to time. I usually do the ones with large number of ops. and hits. Almost every time I was very dissapointed. Peh...I can pick several average videos by todays standards which'd own 90% of the ones from 2001. :P

Teh AMV's are evolving!
