Another Option
Depending on how Samurai Deeper Kyo turns out that is a possibility. It might end up being just a little too pop-rockish, but it might work too.
Star Ocean EX might also work with it, just because that is more of a Pop Rock show and I'm sure that you could make some sort of case for Claude being the mentally disturbed one, change Rena's gender slightly, and put it all together in a moderately cohesive AMV.

I hope you're not taking it literally; that would be lame. -_-;; Actually, taking the rest of the song, it fits Saionji in my head more than anything (the angry boy, a bit too insane / icing over a secret pain) - but you know, eeeeverybody loves to take the chorus and use the most literal thing they can think of. Meh, oh well.IcyCloud wrote:I think it might go well with Revolutionary Girl Utena (if you've seen the last part of the series you'll know why). Also, Lain could work as well.

No, I was going for something more metaphorical than that. All the mention in the song of "putting the past away" is more what I was referring to. That message just seems to come through more strongly in the later episodes, which is why I'd suggested that. And you're right, it could work for Saionji as well as for Anthy, but Saionji didn't have quite as much screen time, which makes picking scenes a bit more tricky. Also, they didn't seem to develop the student coucil's characters as much as they did for Utena and Anthy.SarahtheBoring wrote:I hope you're not taking it literally; that would be lame.
But yeah, that's what I meant, I'm not that literal.
