Can anyone recomend some cheap but worthwhile anime/manga? I'm on a very limited budget.

I don't have any particular preference, though I do like series such as Neon Genesis and Full Metal Panic.

So you hate the American war mongering mascot too, eh? :)

Cheap anime ... since when ... :? ... Well if you want to buy some cheap anime, i would only tell you that there is no such thing ... but if you look on ebay, you might get lucky a find a collectors box set for a bit cheaper than if you buy it from the store.

Some recommendations of anime series:

-Love Hina
-Ah! My goddess
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-Cowboy Bebop
-Trigun

Good luck ... ;)

Thanks, though I try to avoid pirated stuff, principels and that. Ebay always seemed a bit dodgey, its probably not, but sending money out to someone I don't know irks me a little.

I need buddies, see my journal entry.

Buy a Newtype USA that's still in plastic wrap. It has a free DVD in it. It should cost like $14 Canadian tops

I think you can get the Moldover perfect collection for like, sixteen bucks off the barnsandnoble website.

Instead of NetFlix, get GreenCine. They have a much wider selection of anime.
