Well, in Meri and VegetooEX's "Professional" trailer....
Disclaimer: That was a REALLY good trailer, though.
Of course this was last year... So my oping skills wern't very good... But STILL... NO ONE ELSE NOTICED THAT! NO ONE mentioned it in their ops. It was wierd... Even Meri and Mike said they didn't notice while making it. 0.oMy op for that vid wrote:The only thing I didn't get, which is why you got an "8" in lip sync, is the scene of "Leon" walking the dog.(Bear with me, I'm horrible at names).
Both of you are just about the best there is at Lip syncing, and every time I see it in the trailer it really gets on my nerves!(for a reason I can't find..).
While "Leon" is walking the dog, there is either some odd black dot where his mouth is supposed ot be, or he's talking all over the place. With all your experience in this area, did you truly not see this flaw? Or could you do nothing about it?
Because, really, that little black dot is just flapping everywhere!!
(No offense, of course).

sometimes the mistakes make my videos look better than they would without them. whenever anyone asks, i just say its all part of my creative genius.
in other people's videos, i notice cut transitions where the cut was a frame early or late so a frame of a different scene gets inserted between two others. many times no one else seems to notice.

Yeah, I remember Matt Pyson referring to that as an "orphan frame". Other people call it a "popped frame". It's noticeable.downwithpants wrote:in other people's videos, i notice cut transitions where the cut was a frame early or late so a frame of a different scene gets inserted between two others. many times no one else seems to notice.
