so Cloud, I know you're the biggest Spike fan in the world....what do you think about Spike vs. Gene Starwind in a gun battle?

How 'bout the Suzuka/Goemon battle?

Suzuka vs Goemon = the apples and oranges principle all over again

Seriously, the way their respective universes work, as well as certain circumstances around the fight make it difficult to determine a winner

a) Sure, Suzuka is able to do some impressive stuff...but considering she's in a world where they have stuff like Tao magic, there's a chance that could aid in her skills
Whereas, in the realm of Lupin III, there really is nothing of the sort, so we have no guarantee Suzuka would function nearly as well

as such, there's no way you could set it without one being at a disadvantage
Also
b) If it's a fight to the death, the time of day would be a factor...Suzuka with her quirk about killing as night falls
c) Wooden sword vs Goemon's Zantetsu, a blade which is said to be made of one of the hardest alloys in the world

Seriously though...Lupin III and Outlaw Star are just too different to make an adequate judgement of any of the characters in combat

IMO anyways

Well, Spike is just an overall better fighter than Gene, including gunmanship, hand-to-hand, and Spike could probably even beat him at chess! Gene does have some cool weaponry, but that won't mean a thing if he can't use it as well as he needs to. While some props go to Gene, I'd have to say the fight goes to Spike.

AS for Sazuka vs Goemon, Sazuka has the advantage b/c she has all the skill that Goemon, at least in my opinion, and[/ishe has other powers along with that. (But if Goemon can manage to take her Kimono, that'd be a different story!)

Now, how about a fight between...Cloud and...hmmm....What would be a good anime character for him to fight?...

Good post.....I agree with eberything you said....in my mind, I guess the fight was in a place where both combatants could take advantage of their skills....out of sheer swordsmanship talent (no Tao magic, battle takes place at night), I say the fight goes to Goemon 6/10, maybe 7

Tidus isn't nearly skilled enough to take on Cloud, but I would love to see Tidus get the crap kicked out of him!!!

A better match would probably be Auron from FFX vs. Cloud....both extremely skilled swordsmen....I still wanna see Cloud kick the crap out of whiny Tidus tho

I also like Yuna vs. Cloud! 8)

I agree that Cloud vs Auron would be cool, but Cloud would win b/c he's quite a bit quicker while Auron's more powerful. 6/10 Cloud on that one.

As for the fight against Tidus....10/10 because Tidus would probably be too busy crying over how mean his daddy was to actually stand and fight.

Cloud vs Yuna, though...that one's hard. Would he hesitate to kill a woman?...or was his little trip to the hot-tub too much of an "enlightening" experience?....(J/K) Cloud's cool, so it's all good!... 8)
