Check it out, people. If you like 1980s electronic music set to an obscure anime, this one should suit you. Though I can almost guarantee you've never seen this anime or heard this song before, I think you'll like it. Constructive criticism is both welcome and encouraged. Thank you.

Hi,

Well, I did watch NotGR many years ago, and it's one of
those little jewels nobody talks about. Although I hadn't
heard that song, I'm pretty sure this must be the same
Larry Fast who played keyboards for early Peter Gabriel,
yes?

This is quite a classy video, low-key and subdued, really
interesting to watch. There are a few scenes in which I
found the character's taking to be distracting, mostly in
the second half, perhaps because the song (IMO) runs
a minute or so too long. Nonetheless, the mood is right
on, and it's visually a very pleasant AMV, definately worth
watching a few times. I remember that in the original they
used Dvorak's New World Symphony, but to be honest I
think the track you chose fits better.

All around a great effort :)

Yes indeed. From what I've just read on him, Larry Fast may never have gotten all the spotlights, but he seems to have worked with several rather famous people.

Sorry about all the yackin', but I was looking for something to fit the anti-climax, and I figured a little gentle conversation would suit it. Dvorak's New World Symphony has some symbolic qualities of its own, so it fit what the movie was doing just as my song fit what I was doing. (What's more representative of the "New World" than endless rows of corn?) Then, too, that piece is played in scenes set in the daytime, whereas all of my footage is shown taking place at night.
