Blue sub 6!

Post by gun4fun » Tue Mar 02, 2004 5:12 am

i have this anime on VHS with English subtitles. man, what a ride!

what do you think about it? (those of you who have seen it)

my favourite scene was when the city fell under attack in the first episode. too bad that mutant Yamato ship did not make that much of an impact in the film. on the other hand, the Blue Sub6 did a few cool moves.

That scene had me. It was very cool (she hurt him in that scene too, didn't she?). I was very captivated by that show. Although it's been a while. I might have to pick that one up again ^^

I think the girly-fish-monster bit him before she swam off....too bad! They would have been a cute couple!

I saw the first 2 eps some years ago. I think it was the first anime to contain massive CG. The story's about two submarine pilots, an underaged girl and a guy who were lazy to button their clothes. cant recall the rest since the anime was boring IMO, but the action was phenomenal at that time.

BS6 is one of what i call 'action drama'. the action is not the main theme of the show, its just a means of telling the story. it really does not matter who wins, because in the end the characters develope and mature to the end and that is the whole idea of the film/series. i love stuff like that. ~.~
