hmmm i havent realized that. then again i have the pleasure of watching my mpeg 2 version as well as the dvd version. but ill see what i can do about that interlace thing on the next YYH vid. last time i deinterlaced footage it got all fuzzy and crappy looking. and ive never turned back since but that was with premiere though i havent tried it with Vegas video yet.Arigatomyna wrote:That was fun. ^_^ You have some interesting Japanese songs that I've never heard before. But I wish you'd have deinterlaced the footage...It reminds me of my old 'Eye to Eye' vid - YYH gets rough if you leave it interlaced. >.>

Well, if you produce the huffyuv from your editor, you can use VirtualDub's deinterlace option (with the 'blend fields' setting) and it should look pretty clean - and you can run that through TMPGEnc if you want to go to mpg (with the noise reduction filter, it can look pretty good even if you lower the file size). It wasn't too bad, but with the movie being a smaller aspect ratio, when you fullscreen it you can really see the lines.
It's the only drawback I had with the vid (picky ;p ).
