Whats goin to happen to Goku in DBGT?

What is gonna happen to Goku now that super android 17 is destroyed? and When will Vegeta be as powerful as Goku. I want to see them duke it out.

havent seen it, and dont intend to, dbz is were it ends in my opinion gt is a dream and does not happen (its sucks)

...the next SSJ level...and there is still a saga with a diffrent bad guy that is fairly interesting...but GT has sucked and i haven't even bother watching it.

I don't think that will ever happen - the closest would be when Vegeta is being controlled by Bebi - but in that case, it isn't really Vegeta who is powerful anyway - and Goku still has to be better. You want to see the two 'duke it out' then watch the Majin Vegeta/Goku fight in the Buu saga of DBZ - but even then - it's Babidi who is strong, not Vegeta, and Goku was holding back all along (not going to ssj3).

Don't get your hopes up, Goku is infallible (even in death - the cell saga - it's his spirit that gives his son strength - it's always Goku).

How I wish he wasn't the star of the anime...

Vegeta is still my favorite DBZ character 'cause his pride and frustration makes him the most human of them all.

Yeah, he really disappeared in the latter sagas. He had that brief moment in the spotlight during the Android-Cell saga when he was cool and strong - but then they shoved him offscreen again. He's my favorite non-saiyan character. But in the end, he's as bad-off as Vegeta. Just look at the movies - they both have those "come out of nowhere and fight for 2-5 minutes before we shift to Goku" moments and that's it. Only the Sons matter. ~_~

Meh, after the Super 17 saga comes the Evil Shenron saga. And this kicks ass why? Coz you get to see Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, thats why (result of the fusion dance between Goku and Vegeta, if you don't already know). And he kicks pasty white dragon ass.

And those will be the only other dvds I buy for this anime - just to see that. ^.^
