Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The ban is not because of this post alone, it is because of frequent repeated posts of greater severity than this. He was warned and his poste here broke that warning.

This discussion is over, let's keep the discussion to the video please.

For a 30 minute video it's not bad =\ definitly better than my (2 hour) iron chef video. So props for that.

If you are responding to a video announcement, please try to make constructive comments. If you think the video is bad, tell the creator what is wrong with it and how it could be made better. If you didn't bother watching the video, then perhaps you should keep your comments to yourself.

People become better through practice and experience, but peer support and advice can accelerate that improvement. For all you jaded and cynical creators out there, don't forget that at one time or another you were new to editing also.
yay, props to AD for taking action against dokool's snobby remarks! As for the video, ill be checking it out 2marrow(gotta go to sleep now). If Ryan enjoyed it I most likely will :D

Thanks! I'm going to try and make my videos better, but you have to understand that it's my first and everyone makes a first video kinda bad. And I'm a complete amateur in making videos, and my programme is very complex... It stops working after I put one clip in the timeline, then I can listen to music when I work on it, the programme sucks. But it's my computer that's the problem. I do have an Athlon XP 2600, but with my jackass as a programme it doesn't make a video bigger than 2 Mb. I'll try to make one though.
