Not really - not if you consider how many different songs Linkin Park has for people to choose from.Kalium wrote:Approximately 1 in 8 videos are DBZ?
That's very alarming.
You want alarming? Look up the 'Bring Me to Life' vids - all for the exact same song. Forget combining the Evanescence videos - jusf that one song. Now just wait till people start combining it with Naruto. ^.~

Eh - I thought I'd go ahead and give some numbers. Since we're talking unusual figures here.
'Bring me to life' clocks in 317 videos (for one song) - and 10 of those are for Naruto in the last year (since feb 26 2003).
Now take individual songs by Linkin Park and make the same comparison to DBZ. The results are interesting. ^_^
There are 592 LP/DBZ vids - a huge amount. And broken down?
Points of Authority - 43 DBZ vids to that one song listed in the last 4 years. That's 10 per year - no different from where the Naruto/Bring me to Life currently is - interesting, no?
By Myself - 17 DBZ vids in the last 3 years (since 02/01/03). Nothing worth mentioning if it were any other artist or anime.
In the End - 88 DBZ vids in the last 4 years (with half being made in 2000-2002, a fourth in 2003 and again in 2004 - which means it's declining).
Runaway - 21 DBZ vids in the last four years (8 made in 2003, and 1 in 2004). Naruto/Bring me to life has this beaten for the year-per-vid ratio.
I could continue, but I'm sure no one but me finds this funny. To me, it isn't the artist/anime combo so much as the *song*/anime combo - and even then, you have to consider the per-year breakdown before thinking the stats are unusual compared to other popular songs/groups and anime combos.

I think those numbers are interesting. They could be better used when we get the whole "ohz no, lbz is teh devil, I better balance it out with Bring Me to Life." I actually thought I was the only one who thought the way your post suggests you think. I mean, while LBZ is horrible redundant, not all of them are bad. So, from now on, LBZ gets a 5, but if a video ever uses "Bring Me to Life" they get a 3 at best.Arigatomyna wrote:Eh - I thought I'd go ahead and give some numbers.
