Is Their Going To Be a Hellsing Movie
I was wondering if someone had heard or knows about a hellsing movie that compliments the series. From some info the title was to be Pslams Of Darkness. But whenever I tried to get any info on anything other than the series nothing comes up. If anyone has any info please infrom me. Thanks

It's not even that big of a coincidence. Hellsing was based off the same Van Helsing from Bram Stoker's Dracula (Integra is the descendant of Van Helsing). It just so happens Hugh Jackman is starring in a movie based on the same source as Hellsing.

That's because there is no Hellsing movie. (at least not yet......)Randolph Vaassen wrote:I was wondering if someone had heard or knows about a hellsing movie that compliments the series. Psalm of the Darkness was suppose to be the little subtitle that went under the main title.

Actually, if what you're talking about is the trailer on disc 1 of the U.S. release, that's really just a "teaser" trailer for the Hellsing tv series. It was used to promote the series before it was even released.Jebadia wrote:I thought that was some kind of episode 00 kinda thing.
If fact, the preview trailer is made up mostly of little animated "glimpses" of the manga. Most of the scenes in that trailer are taken directly from the manga, so in a sense, that trailer is the closest thing to a direct manga adaptation.
It must have been a disappointment for fans when the get a spiffy trailer that hints at a close manga adaption, but instead are handed a very lose one (that eventually breaks off from the manga).
Very little from that preview trailer was actually used in the show.
I would love to see them make a much more acurate adaptation. This may come true as rumors have speculated that Gonzo wants to do more Hellsing, but Kouta Hirano has told them to wait till he finishes the manga.
Speaking of which, 6 volumes have been released, and Hellsing is still running in Young KIng Ours. (famous for Trigun and Excel Saga, as well as Hellsing)
I still cannot stress how much better the manga is than the show, so I highly recommend getting the manga.
Buy Hellsing 1-6 price per volume: $7.95
Buy the most recent Young King Ours Magazines price per issue: $5.95

I'm sure the name Van Hellsing has something to do with vampires anywayJonathan02us wrote:That movie u guys r talking about is just a movie based on the theme of Van Helsing, it has nothing to do really with Hellsing. Its just a coincidence that it came out with a very similar name and has to do with vampires ...

I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.
