Anime on MTV2?!

Post by ryuu_hime13 » Sat Jan 31, 2004 6:58 pm

Something interesting - while watching MTV2 about 10 minutes ago I just saw an advertisement for Heat Guy J on Friday at 6:00. I hadn't heard about this. Can anyone tell me more?

So it's going to be in MTV2, not MTV. Yea, I heard about this a few months ago. Though I'm VERY skeptical of how they're going to handle Heat Guy J. :?

MTV doesn't edit ANYTHING these days. I'm sure they won't cut it up too bad.

too bad they'd technically be making money off of them because they'd be getting ratings while you watched so it'd be ILLEGAL =/ unless they were ones made by the companies themselves :?

yea.. it should come from the producers.. and they should make their own songs too.. which must be good to make the AMV good..

I haven't trusted Television since Sci-Fi channel showed Evangelion commercails just before they decided they where too cool to show anime... for Television dealing with anime to regain my respect they'll have to show a good series uncut and in Japanese with subtitles, on a mainstream station. < Sorry, just a side note on my current situation.

Videos, and animation... MTV2 is MTV ten years ago. :P

I'm not keen on mecha anime, but I'm all for exposing it to new people.
