Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey..first new vid for 2004! It's one I started last year..set to the side in pursuit of other things and finally came back and finished and is as follows..
Anime: Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven's Door
Music- Clean and Simple-Planet B Remix-Japanese Version

It's another attempt at an action vid so you've been warned :P

I liked most of the tempo :D , but most scenes didn't match too well, and I know I do it too but the aspect ratio is wrong :(

well..I kept my aspect ratio at what it said in the quides to set it as..square I belive..then when I did my final encode in VDub, I used some of the script it mentioned in that section..unless I missed it somewhere along there, I wasn't aware the aspect ratio was supposed to be changed from what I had :?

:? see..this is what I'm not understanding..it has to be at 16:9 to be correct? If it didn't affect veiwing..and I'm assuming it's not affected the veiwing on several other of my vids as I'm sure I didn't change anything there either...how is it wrong? If it's not mentioned in the guides..as so many creators swear by using..who's to say it's wrong not to use it?
I by no means claim to know alot on the encoding (I'm still learning as you can tell) but this just puzzles me...

Some people can be perfectionist's and other's arnt.

It depends on how you look at it,
Espicially since cowboy bebops characters are already skinny (70's?),
It's the art style, so you might not notice it right off the bat.
"hey... no"
