But...you get *some* pleasure knowing your fans like the vids you killed yourself on...don't you...? Hate is such a strong, final word.

I love my videos. But it's sad that after spending so much time on them I never really appreciate them as much as other people, and before they get shown I really have no idea if other people will think the video's any good. It's odd.
I mean, I've been working on this video for 14 months now. I'm sure it's gonna be super and cool and stuf... but I'm already unimpressed by it since I've seen it ump-teen-bajillion times, so I have no idea if it actually is any good anymore.
But I like it. ^_^ Still gives me goosebumps in parts.

And it's true that if you don't like your videos you can't expect other people to. All my best videos I still love dearly, and my crappy videos I don't like to watch anymore.

I usually tend to enjoy my videos quite a bit and always try to raise the bar a bit higher every time... Unfortunately sometimes I feel I could have done better....way better I can' t say I hate them but seeing all the mistakes you never caught when you first did It annoys me. but i like the concepts and with those mistakes see how I can make it better for the next one. I've thought about going back and re-editing them sometimes (not just remastering them) but sometimes I feel like thats cheating.

A few of my older vids I reeeeaaaly hate. But that's why they invented "Remastering." My new stuff however I am quite proud of, especially the multi-editor vids. TV was just gold if i do say so myself.

The more time passes the more I like my videos. Right after I finish I'm convinced the video sucks because I wasn't able to do half the things I wanted to. Once some time passes I notice things that I actually like and of course I'm not quite so sick of the song so that helps as well. I still notice things that make me cringe but they're always different things and there are less of them, which I suppose is improvment and implies someday I'll like all of my video.

I would have to say that I like all my vids that I've posted here on the org (some definatly more than others). There are 2 other vids that I've made and haven't posted, and I hate them. They are simply very sub-par, and I for one, don't want to waste people's time and this site's bandwith to post an awful video.

I like my vids about as much as I like other people's vids, I can't really distinguish. Although I do view my own vids a crapload more then others.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I think if you ask any decent creator they'll tell you they enjoy their vids a whole lot and watch them often. That sort of goes with the terrortory if you create something your proud of.

And I'll never put something of my own in my top-10 favorite lists. I use that list to spread the good word about videos I enjoy. Since someone could only see that list by looking at my profile, I think its kind of lame to take up spots in that space for videos they could find by scrolling down 3 clicks.

But thats just me.
