Incognito sucks i hate that fucker,He's a useless character.Actually also the series is nothing but moving clips took form the manga you all should read the manga. The series does contain useless characters like Incognito. Also there is a rumor about another Hellsing series coming out but thats the biggest lie i have heard since someone started the rumor that Berserk was coming back since its making more money in America.

wasn't incognito the reason for all of those people who were turned into vampires by those little microchip things? that'd make him quite an important character to the story. and he's the main antagonist, another thing making him NOT a useless character.

Alucard=Dracula backwords. The Japanese have some difficulty with the "l" sound so it often comes out as an "r" which explains Arucard. I was a bit disappointed that -

POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD

- the ending didn't give much of an explanation of HOW Incognito was responsible for those things, or name who he was working for. They really should add more. :(

The reason for that ... correct me if im wrong ... is because in Japan, the people didnt take the series so well so i think that they just left it the way it is and never really concluded it nicely they way it should have been done. Plz someone confirm that, i dont wanna be saying something thats not right ... :?

Hellsing was not very popular in Japan.

I assume this is because it was a very "Western" anime. It took place in England, the characters had English names, they were Protestant, and they were not at all Japanese. Therefore, there's a good chance that the Japanese anime community simply couldn't relate to it.
