I was talking to my friend a while back and we happened to talk about creating AMV's. Well we got to talking about AMV's and who makes them, Wat we noticed was that those AMV's that are sort of in the romance/drama side, were mostly created by guys. I kno it might be a little bit off topic, but have u ever wondered why are the guys making romance/drama AMV's, not that its bad o anything cuz im one of them. I would expect to see more romance/drama AMV's made buy gurls, but according to my observations, its the exact opposite. Any comments...

Well my opinion would be that these guy creators happen to be more intouch with their romantic/drama side. It dont mean that they are gay o anything. I mean look at those romantic guys, they r the ones with the gurls. Anyways, back to the topic.

My opinion would be that most amv creators are guys, and that should probably be taken into account.
I don't know wether the girl-guy ratio in romance vids is different from that in, say, the action category.

This can all be solved by a famous quote by some old dude who had no life -

"While (most) women cry to show obvious emotion at being dumped (etc),

In the past, I've made drama and romance AMVs because I wanted to. I'm working on two right now, because I want to.

I don't draw from any personal experiences. Mostly because there's not much for me to draw off of.
