Anime: GetBackers
Artist: Randy Newman and Lyle Lovett
Song: You've Got a Friend in Me
I was planning on making it, but 2 jobs + college = zero time.
I wanted to lip sync as much as possible, but if you have any other idea for it, go for it

I dont think anything can fix thatArigatomyna wrote:DBZ to Linkin Park as a sexual fanservice vid - mix in some doujinshi scans and you'll break the 'lbz is unoriginal' stigma...guaranteed.
Anything can be original if you put the right twist on it. One thing dbz vids lack is sexual fanservice...there are none on the org. And just think, there are thousands of dbz vids on the org - yet there are none that have a sexual mood aimed at fanservice, let alone any using dj scans to enforce that fanservice angle. The song won't make a bit of difference in the 'originality' if the parody is done right.Charizard305 wrote:I dont think anything can fix thatArigatomyna wrote:DBZ to Linkin Park as a sexual fanservice vid - mix in some doujinshi scans and you'll break the 'lbz is unoriginal' stigma...guaranteed.
Do you think that we could possibly have the First Decent DBZ AMV on our hands?Arigatomyna wrote:Anything can be original if you put the right twist on it. And making a 'new' vid for an overused anime/song is more original than doing it for something that's rarely used - because it's harder.
There are a few good ones already out, but if you mean something to 'break the mold' then yes, I think it would do that. The only problem is who would watch it? If it were a funny sexual fanservice parody then yes, it would work. But then it's a matter of who would do it.Charizard305 wrote:Do you think that we could possibly have the First Decent DBZ AMV on our hands?
I think that the problem in making a new DBZ AMV would be advertisment, too many ppl hate AMV's to Dragon Ball Anything. I think it would be hard to get over that barrier.Arigatomyna wrote:There are a few good ones already out, but if you mean something to 'break the mold' then yes, I think it would do that. I don't like the girls enough for that. I just threw it out because it's never been done for this anime (at least on the org).
Not necessarily. I've announced all of my dbz vids without getting any flames in the threads (well...not counting EC with my second vid). And just think - if it were a well-known creator he wouldn't get *any* complaints since it would be a parody, and people love to mock dbz.Charizard305 wrote:I think that the problem in making a new DBZ AMV would be advertisment, too many ppl hate AMV's to Dragon Ball Anything.
